...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO
11 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...Northwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. A few of
  the typically windy locations will experience wind gusts to 75 mph.

* TIMING...this morning through 11 pm. The strongest winds will
  occur late this afternoon into the early evening hours.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT
this evening.

* WINDS...Northwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* TIMING...This morning through 8 pm this evening. The strongest winds
  will occur late this afternoon into the early evening hours.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
