THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MARQUETTE HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM EST /9 PM CST/ THIS
EVENING TO 1 PM EST /NOON CST/ SATURDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER:

 * AREAS OF FOG WILL BECOME WIDESPREAD AND DENSE LATER THIS
   EVENING AFTER THE LIGHT RAIN MOVING THROUGH THE AREA
   DIMINISHES.

 * THE FOG WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY TO LESS THAN ONE-QUARTER MILE
   OVERNIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING.

 * WITH TEMPERATURES AROUND FREEZING LATER TONIGHT THE FOG MAY
   FREEZE ON UNTREATED SURFACES.

IMPACTS:

 * EXPECT HAZARDOUS TRAVEL LATER TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING DUE
   TO VERY LOW VISIBILITY.

 * SLIPPERY TRAVEL MAY OCCUR AS THE FOG FREEZES ON UNTREATED
   SURFACES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:

 * A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
   REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE.
