...A Lake Wind Advisory will be in effect through 11 PM CST
for much of East and Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma and
parts of adjacent Southwest Arkansas and Northwest Louisiana...

.A tight pressure gradient between surface low pressure over
Southwest Kansas and the Panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma and
surface high pressure over the Southeast States will produce
strong and gusty Southerly winds of 15-20 MPH with gusts to
30 MPH into the late evening.

...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CST THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Lake Wind
Advisory, which is in effect until 11 PM CST this evening.

* EVENT...Southerly winds 15 to 20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. These
  strong winds will gradually diminish toward late evening.


* TIMING...Through 11 PM CST.

* IMPACT...Winds will likely produce rough chop on area lakes
  and waterways, which may be hazardous to boaters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
