...STRONG SOUTH WINDS BATTERING THE COASTAL AREAS AND HIGHER PEAKS...

Strong front is slowly pushing towards the coast. South winds
increased along the coast Tuesday afternoon, with one burst of strong
winds occuring late in the afternoon. Afterwards, winds eased a bit.
But as of 430 am, the south winds have been increasing. Strong gusty
south winds will continue this morning, and likely peak between 7 am
and 10 am today, then slowly ease.

SPECIAL NOTE: data from the US 101 Yaquina Bay bridge station appears
to have a data quality issue...as it is reading way high.

HERE IS A SUMMARY OF PEAK WINDS AS OF 645 AM THIS MORNING...
(These will be updated as stronger gusts are recorded/reported)
