RED RIVER THROUGH THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF JUNE...

...LATEST RED RIVER STAGES AND FORECAST CREST INFORMATION...

THE 8 PM MONDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER NEAR DEKALB TEXAS AT PECAN
POINT WAS 34.78 FEET. THE RIVER IS CURRENTLY AT A FLAT CREST AND
SHOULD CONTINUE A SLOW FALL THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK. FLOOD
STAGE NEAR DEKALB IS 24 FEET.

THE 8 PM MONDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT INDEX ARKANSAS NORTH OF
TEXARKANA WAS 30.45 FEET. THE RIVER IS NEAR A FLAT CREST OF 31.5
FEET THROUGH TUESDAY. FLOOD STAGE AT INDEX IS 25 FEET.

THE 8 PM MONDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT FULTON ARKANSAS WAS 29.89
FEET. THE RIVER WILL RISE AND CREST NEAR 32.1 FEET BY JUNE 4TH.
FLOOD STAGE AT FULTON IS 27 FEET.

THE 8 PM MONDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT THE SPRINGBANK FERRY IN
SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS WAS 40.02 FEET. THE RED RIVER WILL RISE AND CREST
NEAR 42.5 FEET BY JUNE 5TH. FLOOD STAGE IS 37 FEET.

THE 8 PM MONDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT SHREVEPORT LOUISIANA WAS
31.78 FEET. THE RIVER WILL RISE AND CREST NEAR 34 FEET BY JUNE 6TH.
FLOOD STAGE AT SHREVEPORT IS 30 FEET.

THE 8 PM MONDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT COUSHATTA LOUISIANA WAS
33.75 FEET. THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE AND CREST NEAR 36.5 FEET
BY JUNE 7TH. FLOOD STAGE AT COUSHATTA IS 31 FEET.

THE 730 PM MONDAY STAGE ON THE RED RIVER AT GRAND ECORE LOUISIANA
WAS 36.88 FEET. THE RED RIVER WILL RISE AND CREST NEAR 40.5 FEET BY
JUNE 8TH. FLOOD STAGE AT GRAND ECORE IS 33 FEET.

NEARLY ALL OF THE RED RIVER`S TRIBUTARIES IN SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND
NORTH TEXAS REMAIN ABOVE FLOOD STAGE.  SOILS IN THE RED RIVER BASIN
REMAIN SATURATED FROM THIS VERY WET SPRING OF 2015.  ALSO LAKE
TEXOMA ON THE RED RIVER AND TRIBUTARY RESERVOIRS TO THE RED RIVER
REMAIN AT EXTREMELY HIGH WATER AS WELL FROM STORED FLOOD WATERS.

AFTER THE RED RIVER CRESTS...VERY HIGH WATER STAGES WILL CONTINUE ON
THE RED RIVER THROUGH AT LEAST THE END OF JULY DUE TO VERY HIGH
FLOOD CONTROL RESERVOIR POOL STAGES ACROSS MUCH OF THE RED RIVER
BASIN.

COUSHATTA LOUISIANA 37.5 FEET DURING MAY 17 OF 1990.

GRAND ECORE LOUISIANA 40.7 FEET DURING MAY 18 OF 1990.
