...RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE SET AT INTERNATIONAL FALLS MN THIS
AFTERNOON...

AS OF 2 PM CST...THE TEMPERATURE AT INTERNATIONAL FALLS HAD REACHED
50 DEGREES.  THIS ESTABLISHES A NEW RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR
FEBRUARY 18... AND BREAKS THE PREVIOUS RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF
49...WHICH WAS SET IN 1954.

SINCE THERE ARE STILL SEVERAL MORE HOURS OF DAYLIGHT THIS
AFTERNOON... IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE TEMPERATURE COULD STILL RISE
ANOTHER DEGREE OR TWO. THEREFORE...THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED
PRELIMINARY UNTIL THE FINAL HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THIS AFTERNOON IS
DETERMINED.
