...WARMEST FEBRUARY AND WARMEST WINTER EVER FOR NEEDLES...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR FEBRUARY 2015 FOR NEEDLES, CALIFORNIA
WAS 65.0 DEGREES. THIS BREAKS THE RECORD FOR THE PREVIOUS WARMEST
FEBRUARY EVER OF 64.2 DEGREES SET WAY BACK IN 1906.

THIS WAS ALSO THE WARMEST METEOROLOGICAL WINTER EVER IN NEEDLES WITH
AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 59.5 DEGREES. THIS BREAKS THE PREVIOUS
RECORD OF 59.0 DEGREES SET LAST WINTER. METEOROLOGICAL WINTER
CONSISTS OF THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 1ST THROUGH FEBRUARY 28TH.

OFFICIAL RECORDS FOR NEEDLES DATE BACK TO 1888.
