ARKANSAS...

SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS GUSTING 20 TO 30 MPH...HIGH TEMPERATURES
IN THE MID 50S TO UPPER 60S...AND AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES OF 20 TO 35
PERCENT RANGE WILL PREVAIL TODAY. THESE CONDITIONS...ALONG WITH
AN AMPLE SUPPLY OF DRY GRASSES...WILL CONTRIBUTE TO AGGRESSIVE
FIRE SPREAD POTENTIAL FOR ANY WILDFIRE. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO
QUICKLY DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET.

BURN BANS ARE IN EFFECT FOR CARROLL...MADISON...AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES
IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. ALSO A FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR TODAY
FOR AREAS ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 75 IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA. LATER
FORECASTS SHOULD BE MONITORED FOR ANY CHANGES TO THE AFTERNOON
FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED. REPORT SMOKE OR FIRE TO YOUR
LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT.
