.AN UPPER LOW WILL BE MOVING INTO WESTERN ARIZONA ON WEDNESDAY
WITH STRONG SOUTHWEST FLOW AHEAD OF IT. DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS
WILL BE ENHANCED AS THIS SYSTEM APPROACHES THE REGION. 20-FOOT
WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH STRONGER GUSTS AND
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL FALL INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS...EVEN IN
MANY MOUNTAIN LOCATIONS.

STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN EL PASO TX/SANTA TERESA HAS
ISSUED A RED FLAG WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM
MDT WEDNESDAY. THE FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* WIND...SOUTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH.

* HUMIDITY...6 TO 12 PERCENT.

* IMPACTS...ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP WILL LIKELY SPREAD RAPIDLY.
  OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

* AREAS FROM THE NEW MEXICO BOOTHEEL NORTHEAST INTO WESTERN SIERRA
  COUNTY WILL EXPERIENCE THE STRONGEST WINDS AND THE MOST CRITICAL
  CONDITIONS.

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW....OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF
STRONG WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AND WARM TEMPERATURES CAN
CONTRIBUTE TO EXTREME FIRE BEHAVIOR.
