...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT TODAY FOR WINDY AND DRY CONDITIONS
ACROSS THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS...

.Critical fire weather conditions will develop once again across
the Guadalupe Mountains today. Winds have remained fairly elevated
overnight and will maintain critical speeds through this
afternoon as relative humidity drops below 15 percent by late
morning.

FOR RELATIVE HUMIDITY OF 15 PERCENT OR LESS, 20 FOOT WINDS OF 20
MPH OR MORE AND HIGH FIRE DANGER...

* HUMIDITY: 10 to 15 percent.

* FIRE DANGER: High to very high.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute
to dangerous fire behavior.
