DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA
221 PM EDT MON JUN 29 2015

The widespread rainfall that began late Saturday night tapered off
last evening. Storm total rainfall from Saturday night through last
night averaged 1 to 2 inches across the region with some isolated
higher amounts.

For today, a few sprinkles will be realized this afternoon across the
region but overall conditions will be dry with temperatures slightly
cooler than normal.

High pressure will build overhead tonight providing mostly clear skies
and dry conditions.

Warmer temperatures move in Tuesday ahead of an approaching cold front
from the west. It will be partly to mostly sunny across the region,
however clouds will increase across western sections later in the
afternoon. The cold front will bring widely scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms Tuesday night and Wednesday. Some storms
Wednesday may be strong along with locally heavy rainfall.

Area main stem river levels will decline slightly through Wednesday,
but the Connecticut and Merrimack Rivers will show slight rises.

These forecasts include 24 hour precipitation for the period ending
at 7 am today, and forecast precipitation through 7 am tomorrow.
