HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a Hydrologic
Statement in cooperation with the California Department of Water
Resources for the following rivers in California...

  Eel River at Fernbridge affecting Humboldt County

Scattered showers will persist across the area today, but the
river level will continue to slowly recede.

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Do not drive your car across flooded roadways. It only takes about
two feet of water to float most vehicles. For area road conditions...
call CALTRANS at 1-800-427-7623.

local TV or radio stations.

The next statement will be issued by 400 PM or as warranted by
changing conditions.

Forecast information for the Eel River at Fernbridge...

* At 8:15 AM Wednesday, the stage was 14.9 feet.
* This river is currently above monitor stage.
* No flooding is forecast.
* Monitor stage is 14.0 feet, flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* This river is forecast to fall below monitor stage of 14.0 feet
  around midday today, then recede to near 7.5 feet by late Saturday
  morning.
