RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINS HAS LEAD TO HIGHER THAN NORMAL LAKE LEVELS ON
THE CATAWBA...TUCKASEGEE AND BROAD RIVERS. FLOODING OF LOW LYING
AREAS ALONG THE SHORE LINE AND AREAS BELOW THE DAM WILL BE LIKELY.
THESE HIGH LEVELS OF WATER ARE SLOWLY FALLING AND SHOULD BE BELOW
FULL POOL SOON.  CEDAR CREEK ON THE CATAWBA RIVER IS A LITTLE
ABOVE FULL POOL...TUCKASEGEE WAS JUST ABOVE FULL LATE TUESDAY MORNING
AND NINETY NINE ISLANDS ON THE BROAD WAS ABOUT A HALF FOOT ABOVE.
