Hydrologic Statement

For the Arkansas River, the following locations are included:
Hutchinson...Haven.

At Hutchinson:
* No flooding is forecast at this time.
* The 7 PM Monday stage was 5.8 feet and steady.
* The flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* It is forecast to crest around 6.1 feet Wednesday morning.
* At 6.0 feet...The river is out of its main channel. The width of
the river will expand to 550 feet. The channel flow will be swift!

Near Haven:
* No flooding is forecast at this time.
* The 8 PM Monday stage was 7.9 feet and rising.
* The flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* It is forecast to crest around 8.9 feet early Thursday morning.
* At 9.0 feet...The river will be out of its channel but within its
banks. River extends to a width of about 550 feet. The channel
current will be swift!
