...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT ORANGE...CENTRAL ADDISON...
NORTHERN WINDSOR AND SOUTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES...

At 847 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Ripton, moving
east at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Middlebury, Braintree Hill, Bradford, Thetford Hill State Park,
Salisbury, Lincoln, Thetford, Whiting, Granville, Fairlee, Tunbridge,
Hancock, Sharon, Corinth Corners, Washington, Ripton, Newbury,
Newbury Village, Williamstown and Leicester.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
