...CLEARING SKIES RESULTING IN RAPID DEVELOPMENT OF FOG...

The low clouds that plagued the region today were beginning to
move out of the region. With humidity levels very high and light
winds...this was resulting in the rapid formation of fog and
lowering visibilities. At 845 PM CST...the airports in Grand
Island and Lexington were reporting a visibility of one-half
mile. Holdrege was reporting one-quarter mile.

The visibility will continue to drop through midnight over south
central Nebraska...along and north of Highway 6. A weak cold
front will move through around midnight...and will that result in
the fog dissipating along with clearing skies.

Until then...use caution while driving. Slow down and allow extra
time to reach your destination.
