...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN TODD...NORTHWESTERN
STEARNS AND SOUTHWESTERN MORRISON COUNTIES...

At 1139 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Sauk Centre
Airport, or 23 miles southeast of Alexandria, moving northeast at 50
mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Little Falls, Sauk Centre, Melrose, Randall, Upsala, Swanville, Grey
Eagle, Flensburg, Little Sauk, Sobieski, Meire Grove and Burtrum.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 94 in Minnesota between mile markers 122 and 136.
 U.S. Highway 10 in Minnesota between mile markers 147 and 151.
 U.S. Highway 71 between mile markers 158 and 180.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
