...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL GREENVILLE AND NORTHEASTERN ANDERSON COUNTIES...

At 549 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southeast
of Easley, or near Piedmont, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Piedmont, Williamston, West Pelzer, Donaldson Center, Fork Shoals,
Greenville Eastside, Powdersville and West Greenville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Scattered trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned
area. Seek shelter inside an interior room.
