URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE MONDAY MORNING THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY
MORNING...

.A winter storm is forecast to move through the region Monday
morning into early Tuesday morning. This will bring the potential
for heavy snow to portions of northwest Wisconsin. Confidence in
heavy snow for the watch area remains fairly high. Snow and
possibly a wintry mix is forecast to begin Monday morning with the
heaviest snowfall expected Monday afternoon and evening. Snow
will gradually taper off late Monday night into early Tuesday
morning. The system will lift out of the Northland leaving a
period of lake effect snow for portions of Bayfield, Ashland, and
Iron Counties Tuesday morning.

...WINTER STORM WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH
EARLY TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Plan on difficult travel conditions,
  including during the evening commute on Monday. Total snow
  accumulations of 5 to 8 inches, with localized amounts up to 12
  inches, are possible. Winds will be strong with this system,
  which will cause blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Wisconsin.

* WHEN...From Monday morning through early Tuesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Significant reductions in visibility are
  possible.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue
