URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT OVER THE COASTAL
PRAIRIES THROUGH 6 AM CST...

.Light to moderate snows will continue to shift east through the
night with a light dusting up to around two inches of
accumulation possible over the Coastal Prairies. Precipitation has
decreased over most of South Central Texas, but light flurries
will remain possible. Temperatures are expected to fall to the
freezing mark across all of South Central Texas toward daybreak,
and there will remain damp spots on roadways that could turn into
dangerous black ice.

* WHAT....Light flurries continue, with freezing temperatures
  expected to form areas of light icing over roadways toward
  daybreak Friday.

* WHERE...Most of south central Texas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Motorists should use extra caution,
  especially when approaching elevated surfaces such as bridges
  and overpasses.

* WHAT... Snow occurring. Plan on slippery road conditions. Snow
  accumulations of up to two inches expected.

* WHERE...Fayette, Karnes, Gonzales, De Witt and Lavaca County.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing temperatures toward daybreak will
  interact with any remnant wet areas on roadways, bridges, and
  overpasses to form dangerous black ice conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling, especially in open areas. The
latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be
