EFFECT SNOW WARNING FOR HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW...AND BLOWING
SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM EST /2 PM CST/ THIS AFTERNOON
TO 1 PM EST /NOON CST/ THURSDAY. THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY IS NO
LONGER IN EFFECT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * MODERATE TO HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP THIS
   AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE THROUGH THANKSGIVING MORNING. THE PERIOD OF
   HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS
   EVENING...WHEN SNOWFALL RATES MAY EXCEED 1 INCH PER HOUR.

 * NORTH WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH AS 25 MPH THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
   WILL CAUSE PATCHY BLOWING SNOW...MAINLY NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR.

 * BY THE TIME THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS DIMINISH BY THANKSGIVING
   AFTERNOON...PLAN ON TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 12 INCHES
   OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN FROM IRONWOOD AND WAKEFIELD TO WHITE PINE
   WITH 4 TO 8 INCHES ALONG THE REST OF LAKE SUPERIOR. THERE WILL BE
