WASHINGTON...NORTH OREGON...AND LANE COUNTY CASCADES IN EFFECT
FROM 2 AM TO 9 PM PST SATURDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PORTLAND HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR HEAVY SNOW FOR THE SOUTH WASHINGTON...NORTH
OREGON...AND LANE COUNTY CASCADES...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM
TO 9 PM PST SATURDAY.

* TIMING...SNOW LEVELS WILL REMAIN WELL ABOVE 6000 FT THIS
  EVENING...BUT WILL DROP RAPIDLY DOWN TO THE CASCADE PASSES
  OVERNIGHT. STEADY ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
  DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS AND CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY
  NIGHT.

* ACCUMULATION...5 TO 10 INCHES THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...MAINLY
  ABOVE 3500 FT.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS WILL LIKELY TRAVEL DIFFICULT
  THROUGH THE CASCADE PASSES BEGINNING EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW

DRIVING.
