AFTERNOON ABOVE 5000 FEET FOR THE SOUTH WASHINGTON CASCADES...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PORTLAND HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 5000 FEET FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 3 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON.

* TIMING...THROUGH 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON.

* ACCUMULATION/SNOW LEVELS...SNOW LEVELS NEAR 4000 FEET WILL LOWER
  TO 3000 TO 3500 FEET BY THIS AFTERNOON. EXPECT FOUR TO EIGHT
  INCHES OF NEW SNOW ABOVE 5000 FEET BY MID AFTERNOON. ELEVATIONS
  BETWEEN 3000 AND 5000 FEET CAN EXPECT UP TO 4 INCHES. THE
  HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED BETWEEN 4 AM AND 10 AM THIS
  MORNING.
