The strongest winds and critically low humidities Sunday will favor the central mountain chain and northeast highlands westward. Then, humidities will plummet over eastern areas as well on Monday. Winds will strengthen over central and eastern areas late Monday morning, but not until mid afternoon farther west. The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening. * AREA AND TIMING...Northwest Plateau (Zone 101), West Central Mountains (Zone 105), and West Central Basin and Range (Zone 109) Sunday from noon until 10 PM MDT, and Monday from 3 PM until 10 PM. * 20 FOOT WINDS...On Sunday, southwest at 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.
