The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of...
  Liberty County in southeastern Georgia...
  Long County in southeastern Georgia...
  Tattnall County in southeastern Georgia...

* Until 315 PM EDT.

* At 233 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 9 miles east of Plant Hatch to Baxley, moving
  southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include:
  Hinesville, Ludowici, Gumbranch, Gum Branch, and Donald.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Increased rotation has been detected and a tornado warning may be
needed. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop
quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado, take
shelter in a closet, bathroom or small, central room in a sturdy
structure.
