.DISCUSSION...
Near critical to briefly critical fire weather conditions are
likely this afternoon. N winds currently around 10 MPH will
increase and become breezy out of the NW-N by mid to late morning,
sustained 15-20 MPH and gusting 25-30 MPH, and continue breezy
through the afternoon. These strong winds will coincide with
relative humidity values bottoming out around 20% this afternoon.
High temperatures will top out in the upper 60s under sunny skies.
The wind will rapidly decrease after sunset and turn to the NE.
Late overnight, winds will gradually turn from NE to SE but speeds
will only be 5-10 MPH.

Lesser fire weather concerns are forecast for Wednesday. Winds
will gradually increase from the SE during the afternoon, into
generally the 10-20 MPH sustained, gusting ~25 MPH range. Relative
humidity values, however, look to remain higher than today, in
30-35% range, aided by increasing mid to high clouds and perhaps
even some light rain showers. Any rainfall will tend to be pretty
spotty and light (<0.1").
