The Tri State region will be under a risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Threats will include large hail, damaging winds and possibly a few tornadoes. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible, creating a potential flooding threat in some areas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for a portion of the outlook area. Please refer to the latest watch product for additional details. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... A few thunderstorms will be possible through Sunday afternoon across portions of the Tri State area. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening.
