...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR OCEANA AND NEWAYGO COUNTIES
UNTIL 900 PM EDT...

AT 549 PM EDT...EMERGENCY MANAGERS REPORTED THAT FLOODING WAS
OCCURRING IN NEWAYGO AND OCEANA COUNTIES.  THE NORTHERN HALF  OF
OCEANA COUNTY WAS HIT PARTICULARLY HARD.  NUMEROUS ROADS WERE CLOSED
THROUGHOUT THESE COUNTIES.  THIS IS AN UNUSUAL SITUATION AS WATER
LEVELS MAY BE IN PLACES YOU MAY NOT HAVE SEEN IT BEFORE.

NO ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN IS FORECASTED.  RUNOFF FROM THE 3 TO 6
INCHES OF RAIN THAT FELL OVER THE WEEKEND WILL CAUSE WATER LEVELS TO
REMAIN HIGH LIKELY INTO TUESDAY.  PENTWATER REPORTED A TWO DAY
RAINFALL TOTAL OF 5.5 INCHES.

PENTWATER...BITELY...FREMONT...SHELBY...WHITE CLOUD...AETNA...BIG
PRAIRIE...BISHOP...COLFAX...CROTON HEIGHTS...LILLEY...OXBOW...ST.
HUBERTS...VOLNEY...WEARE AND WOOSTER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOST FLOOD RELATED DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
BRIDGES...DIPS...OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT OR
IN A VEHICLE.
