The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northern Kent County in southwestern Michigan...
  Northeastern Ottawa County in southwestern Michigan...

* Until 1215 PM EDT

* At 620 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated 1 to 2 inches of rain has
  fallen due to training thunderstorms. This will cause minor street
  flooding in the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts of 1
  inch or more are possible through late morning.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Walker, Rockford, Coopersville, Sparta, Northview, Cedar Springs,
  Wright, Kent City, Sand Lake, Casnovia, Lamont, Belmont, Comstock
  Park, Grand Valley, Allendale, Eastmanville and Marne.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
