  Portage River Near Vicksburg affecting Kalamazoo County

.Rain on Saturday night will bring some rises on rivers. More rain is expected this week so levels may remain elevated. The following forecast is based on observed and forecast 24 hour precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Motorists should not attempt to drive around
barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

* Forecast, the river is forecast to have a maximum value of 5.2 feet
  early Monday morning.

  farmland adjacent to the river.
