ALLEGAN...VAN BUREN...JACKSON...KENT...OTTAWA...INGHAM...IONIA...
BARRY...CLINTON...KALAMAZOO AND EATON COUNTIES...

Widespread areal flooding will transition to river flooding. The
river basins of the Grand and Kalamazoo will now be the focus. A
temporary website to follow the river trends has been set up at
http://bit.ly/2onh2ug.  Please continue to monitor this site for
this major flooding event.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
