...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 AM EDT FOR
CALHOUN...JACKSON...INGHAM...KALAMAZOO AND EATON COUNTIES...

At 421 AM EDT, the axis of heaviest rain had pushed east of the
advisory area.  The heaviest rain fell from just south of Battle
Creek to near East Lansing.  Over 1 inch of rain fell in roughly two
hours in that region.  Thus...water levels may still be elevated in
urban and poor drainage locations.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lansing, Portage, Jackson, Charlotte, Albion, Mason, Marshall, Eaton
Rapids, Waverly, Westwood, Vandercook Lake, Haslett, East Lansing,
Grand Ledge, Battle Creek, Williamston, Vicksburg, Potterville and
Galesburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
