1042 AM EST SUN DEC 4 2016

...The flood advisory continues for the following rivers in Southwest
Lower Michigan...

Maple River At Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County

.Light to moderate snow will overspread Lower Michigan this
afternoon. Snowfall totals ranging from 1-3 inches are expected.
Total precipitation amounts over the Maple River watershed are
likely to be less than one-quarter of an inch through late tonight.

Recent observations show the river currently falling, which
leads to lower confindence that the river will actually achieve
bankfull. However, the decline is recent and the headline will
continue. Should downward trends continue, the headline may need to
be reconsidered later this afternoon.

The following forecast is based on observed
and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

alert to possible flooding...or the possibility of the advisory being
upgraded to a warning. Report observed flooding to local emergency
services or law enforcement and request they pass this information on
to the National Weather Service.

radio... television... or NOAA Weather Radio station for further
