...The flood advisory continues for the following rivers in Southwest
Lower Michigan...

Grand River At Ionia affecting Ionia County
Maple River At Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County

.NOTE: River forecasts are based on a 48 hour precipitation
forecast valid through Monday morning. Widespread rain moves into the
region late Saturday and river rises will occur as we move through the
weekend. River rises are currently based on an expected 2"-3" of
precipitation over much of the area. However, rainfall amounts over
river basins could vary considerably if the focus for heavy precipitation
shifts position slightly. A possibility exists for higher rainfall totals
across a narrow region which may impact these crests. Stay tuned to
the latest forecast updates as we approach this rainfall event.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

A flood advisory means minor flooding is possible and rivers are
forecast to exceed bankfull. If you are in the advisory area remain
alert to possible flooding...or the possibility of the advisory being
upgraded to a warning. Report observed flooding to local emergency
services or law enforcement and request they pass this information on
to the National Weather Service.

Stay tuned to further developments by listening to your local
radio... television... or NOAA Weather Radio station for further
information.
