THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST LOWER
MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SNOW WILL CONTINUE TODAY ACROSS THE AREA WITH THE HEAVIEST TOTALS
OCCURRING FROM GRAND HAVEN NORTH UP THE LAKESHORE THROUGH
WHITHALL...PENTWATER...HART AND LUDINGTON. THE SNOW WILL BE HEAVY
AT TIMES IN THESE LAKESHORE AREAS. SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS
WILL CONTINUE TO BE FOUND ACROSS WESTERN LOWER MICHIGAN. WIND
DRIVEN LAKE EFFECT SNOW IS EXPECTED THIS EVENING THROUGH TONIGHT
WITH ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS LIKELY. GUSTY WINDS DEVELOPING THIS
AFTERNOON WILL BRING BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ALONG WITH NEAR
WHITEOUTS AT TIMES TO THE EVENING COMMUTE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

LAKE EFFECT SNOWS WILL CONTINUE FROM THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT.

A MIXTURE OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM LATE
FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY.

A SOAKING RAIN AND WARMER TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED SATURDAY
NIGHT INTO SUNDAY NIGHT LEADING TO THE POSSIBILITY OF SOME MINOR
FLOODING WITH A MELTING SNOWPACK. COLDER AIR RETURNS THOUGH FOR
EARLY NEXT WEEK.
