SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED BOTH TODAY AND TONIGHT. THE
STRONGEST STORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING WILL BE CAPABLE OF
WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH...CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES...LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SEVERE STORMS ARE A POSSIBILITY ON SATURDAY FROM ABOUT MIDDAY
THROUGH MIDNIGHT...WITH THE HIGHEST LIKELIHOOD IN THE AFTERNOON
AND EVENING HOURS. DAMAGING WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL BE
THE MAIN THREATS.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER LAKE MICHIGAN BOTH TODAY AND
TONIGHT. MARINERS CAN EXPECT CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING STRIKES AND
BRIEF GUSTY WINDS TO 30 KNOTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

WAVES WILL BEGIN TO RAMP UP ON SATURDAY AND PEAK SATURDAY NIGHT
INTO SUNDAY AS WINDS APPROACH OR EVEN EXCEED GALE FORCE. WAVES
MAY BUILD INTO THE 3 TO 5 FOOT RANGE BY SUNSET ON SATURDAY AND TO
5 TO 8 FEET BY SUNDAY MORNING. WAVES OF 6 TO 9 FEET ARE POSSIBLE
ON SUNDAY. MARINERS WITH BOATING PLANS THIS WEEKEND SHOULD
CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECAST.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE FROM SATURDAY INTO SATURDAY EVENING ON
LAKE MICHIGAN. SOME STORMS MAY BE SEVERE WITH WIND GUSTS IN
EXCESS OF 35 KNOTS.
