This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Standing water will quickly freeze up tonight as temperatures
plunge into the 20s, leading to areas of black ice.

Expect rain to change to snow during the early morning hours.
There may be some sleet and freezing rain for a short time. It
will become rather windy so when the precipitation changes to all
snow expect it to blow around. Driving to work this morning may be
challenging.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Expect snow and blowing snow to be a significant travel problem
today in the I-69 area of Lower Michigan, in that area the snow
may accumulate to 3 to 5 inches with considerable blowing and
drifting.

Lake effect snow will result in some accumulations west of
Highway 131 over the weekend. A more widespread snow is expected
beginning Sunday night and continuing through Tuesday, with light
accumulations likely over most of the area.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower

Winds and waves will be hazardous to small craft early this
morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

North to northwest gales and snow squalls will make it dangerous
for small craft today and tonight. Freezing spray will also be an
issue. This will continue through Saturday.
