THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST LOWER
MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS EARLY THIS MORNING WILL PRODUCE LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN... GUSTY WINDS TO 50 MPH AND FREQUENT LIGHTING. THE
STORMS WILL END BY MID MORNING BUT MORE STORMS WILL DEVELOP LATER IN
THE DAY AND TONIGHT.

ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAINFALL IS LIKELY TONIGHT... PARTICULARLY
NORTH OF A LINE FROM HOLLAND TO ALMA. ANOTHER COUPLE INCHES OF RAIN
IS EXPECTED ACROSS THIS AREA... ON TOP OF THE 1 TO LOCALLY 3 INCHES
WHICH HAS ALREADY FALLEN. THE HEAVY RAIN WILL LEAD TO FLOODING OF
LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND TRIGGER SIGNIFICANT RISES ON
ALREADY ELEVATED RIVERS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

THE HEAVY RAIN THREAT WILL END MONDAY. HOWEVER SOME RIVERS ARE
EXPECTED TO REACH OR EXCEED FLOOD STAGE THIS WEEK... PARTICULARLY
THE MUSKEGON...PERE MARQUETTE... WHITE... AND CHIPPEWA RIVERS.

A COUPLE INCHES OF WET SNOW IS POSSIBLE MONDAY NIGHT. THE TUESDAY
MORNING COMMUTE COULD FEATURE SOME SLICK SPOTS WITH TEMPERATURES IN
THE MID 20S.
