THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND RAPIDS HAS ISSUED A GALE
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST TUESDAY. THE SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT. THE GALE WATCH IS NO
LONGER IN EFFECT.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST WINDS TO 30 KNOTS THIS MORNING WILL INCREASE
  TO GALES TO 40 KNOTS THIS AFTERNOON. GALE FORCE WINDS WILL
  CONTINUE TONIGHT AND LAST INTO TUESDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL FALL
  BELOW GALE FORCE BY MIDDAY TUESDAY.

* WAVES...4 TO 7 FOOT WAVES TODAY WILL BUILD TO 8 TO 12 FEET
  TONIGHT. ROUGH CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ON LAKE MICHIGAN TUESDAY
  AND TUESDAY NIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
