HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1045 AM EDT TUE MAY 2 2017

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Rogue River at Rockford...Muskegon
River at Evart...

.Rivers will remain elevated but begin cresting for many locations.
However, additional rainfall Thursday may produce rising trends at
some locations depending on where the axis of heaviest rain occurs.
The following forecast is based on observed and forecast 24 hour
precipitation.

For the Rogue River Below Rockford... the latest stage was 7.1 feet
at 10 AM Tuesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.1 feet this evening.  Flood stage is 8.0 feet.  At
7.0 feet... River is bankfull..

For the Muskegon River At Evart... the latest stage was 9.7 feet at
10 AM Tuesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 9.8 feet this evening.  Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
