HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1028 AM EST MON FEB 6 2017

The following forecasts are for rivers in southwest lower michigan...

For the Grand River At Ionia... the latest stage was 12.2 feet at 10
AM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 15.3 feet Friday evening.  Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

For the Thornapple River Above Hastings... the latest stage was 3.8
feet at 10 AM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.1 feet Thursday evening.  Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
At 5.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of low lying
areas and farmland adjacent to the river..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
