HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1100 PM EST WED JAN 20 2016

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Pere Marquette River at
Scottville...

.An ice jam is likely downstream of Scottville. Rapid, large
fluctuations in river level are possible. The following
forecast is based on the expected behavior of the ice jam... and is
somewhat uncertain. Stay tuned to later forecasts.

For the Pere Marquette River Near Scottville... the latest stage was
3.9 feet at 10 PM Wednesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum
stage forecasted is 4.0 feet tomorrow early afternoon.  Flood stage
is 5.5 feet.  At 4.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow of low lying
areas adjacent to the river occurs..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
