HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1122 PM EST SUN JAN 8 2017

...Water levels are high or forecast to have rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Grand Rapids...
.Snowfall is expected on Monday night...but warmer weather with
the potential for rain exists on Tuesday. Rainfall may exceed a
half inch. Temperatures are forecast to rise to around 40 degrees.
Snowmelt and rainfall will bring river rises while ice remains in
rivers. Fluctuating river levels are expected...therefore
monitoring river levels the next several days will be critical.



The following forecast is based on observed and forecast 48 hour
precipitation.

For the Grand River At Grand Rapids... the latest stage was 11.2 feet
at 10 PM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 12.5 feet Sunday evening.  Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
