...Water levels are high for the following rivers or creeks:
Grand River at Portland and at Ionia...

.The following forecast is based on observed and forecast 24
hour precipitation.

For the Grand River At Portland... the latest stage was 8.6 feet at 9
PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The river has fallen M feet
in the past 24 hours.  Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

For the Grand River At Ionia... the latest stage was 13.4 feet at 9
PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 13.4 feet after midnight tonight.  Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
