HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1100 AM EST MON JAN 11 2016

.Westerly winds continue to result in lake effect snow showers for
sections of Southwest Lower Michigan. Precipitation chances will be
present through much of the work week. Colder temperatures provide
confidence that it will remain in the form of snow. Runoff will be
slowed by ground freeze-up, as well. Therefore, while rivers are
projected -or- currently flowing near and above action stage,
they are expected to fall back below action criteria through the
next few days. The following forecast is based on observed and
forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Looking Glass River Near Eagle... the latest stage was 4.6
feet at 10 AM Monday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 4.6 feet this afternoon. Flood stage is 7.0 feet.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Stay tuned to further developments by listening to your local
radio... television... or NOAA Weather Radio for further information.
