Hydrologic Statement

1257 PM EDT Thu Nov 2 2017

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Sycamore Creek at Holt...
.Observed precipitation totals of one-quarter to one-half an inch
have been reported in the last 24 hours. Locally, up to
three-quarters of an inch fell. These amounts have led to addition
rises, but no rivers have been reported above bandfull at this time.
Additional precipitation is forecast late tonight and again over the
weekend. Rises may again be possible by late this weekend and into
next week. The following forecast is based on observed and forecast
48 hour precipitation.

For the Sycamore Creek At Holt... no observed stage was available.
No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted is 6.0 feet
tomorrow morning.  Flood stage is 8.0 feet.  At 6.0 feet... Flooding
begins in low lying areas along the creek and at the Lansing
Municipal Golf Course and Scott Woods Park..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
