the following rivers or creeks: Sycamore Creek at Holt...Maple River
at Maple Rapids...
.The current weather is dominated by a weak wave of low pressure.
This will produce rainfall amounts ranging from one to several
tenths of an inch. The extended outlook is for more rain Tuesday
followed by lake effect snow. The following forecast is based on
observed and forecast 48 hour precipitation.
For the Sycamore Creek At Holt... the latest stage was 3.5 feet at 9
AM Sunday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage forecast is 6.1
feet tomorrow early afternoon. Flood stage is 8.0 feet. At 6.0
feet... Flooding begins in low lying areas along the creek and at
the Lansing Municipal Golf Course and Scott Woods Park.
For the Maple River At Maple Rapids... the latest stage was 4.8 feet
at 9 AM Sunday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage forecast
is 7.0 feet Wednesday evening. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. At 7.0
feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding in low lying
pastures, farmland and wooded areas adjacent to the river..
