...Water levels are forecast to rise along the Flat River...

.Following an inch of rainfall on Monday, the Flat River will
rise to around or just shy of bankfull near Smyrna this week. The
following forecast is based on observed and forecast 48 hour
precipitation.

For the Flat River Near Smyrna... the latest stage was 4.6 feet at
7 PM Tuesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.5 feet Thursday evening.  Bankfull stage is 5.5
feet. Flood stage is 8.5 feet.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
