HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
939 AM EDT SUN APR 10 2016

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Comstock Park...Grand
Rapids...Robinson Township...Flat River at Smyrna...Muskegon River at
Croton...
.A wintry mix will result in minor snow accumulations across most of
Central Lower Michigan. Few locations may exceed 4 inches of
snowfall east of Reed City. Precipitation will transition to rain
through this afternoon and continue into late tonight. Overall
rainfall amounts will range from one-half to three-quarters of an
inch, resulting in additional rivers rises early this week.
Dry, quiet and more spring-like weather settles in under high
pressure over the next several days. The following forecast is based
on observed and forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Grand River Near Comstock Park... the latest stage was 10.6
feet at 7 PM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 11.6 feet early Thursday morning.  Flood stage is 12.0
feet.  At 12.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of homes along Abrigador
Trail..

For the Grand River At Grand Rapids... the latest stage was 10.1 feet
at 9 AM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 12.4 feet Thursday early afternoon.  Flood stage is
18.0 feet.

For the Grand River At Robinson Township... the latest stage was 11.7
feet at 8 AM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 12.1 feet Thursday evening.  Flood stage is 13.3 feet.
At 13.0 feet... River is bankfull..

For the Flat River Near Smyrna... the latest stage was 5.1 feet at 8
AM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 5.5 feet Wednesday evening.  Flood stage is 8.5 feet.

For the Muskegon River Near Croton... the latest stage was 7.8 feet
at 8 AM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.9 feet Tuesday evening.  Flood stage is 9.0 feet.  At
8.0 feet... River is bankfull. River begins to exceed its banks and
minor flooding begins in low lying areas along the river..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
