HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1019 PM EDT THU APR 7 2016

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Lowell...Comstock
Park...Flat River at Smyrna...Chippewa River at Mt Pleasant...
.A quick moving system will sweep through the Great Lakes Region
during the day Friday. This will bring a mix of rain and snow Friday
morning, which will change to mainly snow Friday afternoon and
Friday night. Some accumulations may result, but should generally
fall in the range of 1-3 inches with locally higher amounts
possible. A cool and active pattern will persist into early next
week, while relatively light amounts of precipitation can be
expected through the period. Overall improvement is anticipated to
continue through the weekend. The following forecast is based on
observed and forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Grand River At Lowell... no observed stage was available.  No
flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted is 10.1 feet
Sunday evening.  Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

For the Grand River Near Comstock Park... the latest stage was 10.9
feet at 7 PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 11.2 feet after midnight tonight.  Flood stage is 12.0
feet.  At 11.0 feet... River is bankfull..

For the Flat River Near Smyrna... the latest stage was 5.4 feet at 9
PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The river has fallen -0.1
feet in the past 24 hours.  Flood stage is 8.5 feet.

For the Chippewa River Below Mt Pleasant... the latest stage was 5.8
feet at 9 PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The river has
fallen M feet in the past 24 hours.  Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
