HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1230 PM EDT THU MAR 12 2015

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks: Grand River at Comstock Park...Grand
Rapids...Robinson Township... and Red Cedar at Williamston and East
Lansing...

.Mild and mainly dry weather is expected over the next week. The snow
pack across the area will continue to melt and release water into the
rivers. A number of locations along the Grand River and its
tributaries will have to monitor the rises as some gauge sites are
already above bankfull... and others are forecast to approach or
exceed bankfull over the next several days. As the crest heads
downstream through Kent and Ottawa counties next week... the
potential for ice breakup and jamming increases the risk of flood
impacts.
