HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1249 PM EDT THU APR 6 2017

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Dimondale...
Portland...

.Rivers will be swollen into next week with a combination of rain and
melting snow runoff. Minor flooding is ongoing across the area. More
precipitation is expected Monday into Tuesday and may increase
flooding concerns. The following forecast is based on observed and
forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Grand River At Dimondale... the latest stage was 7.4 feet at
10 AM Thursday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 10.9 feet Saturday morning. Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

For the Grand River At Portland... the latest stage was 9.9 feet at
12 PM Thursday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 11.3 feet early Saturday morning. Flood stage is 12.0
feet. At 11.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of
low areas along the river upstream and downstream of Portland.

Safety message... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
