HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1127 PM EDT TUE APR 12 2016

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Red Cedar at East Lansing...

.High pressure will bring sunshine and dry weather to the Great Lakes
Region. Very little precipitation can be expected over the next 7
days. Smaller streams and tributaries will continue to rapidly
improve... while larger rivers will see slight rises as the crest
funnels through the river basins. We may see many river levels fall
below advisory stage near and beyond this weekend. The following
forecast is based on observed and forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Red Cedar River At East Lansing... the latest stage was 5.9
feet at 10 PM Tuesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 5.9 feet after midnight tonight. Flood stage is 7.0
feet. At 6.0 feet... River reaches bankfull and low lying areas
flood.

Safety message... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
